Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
Location: Rhode Island
Position: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Summary
We are recruiting a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) for a full-time, remote telehealth position serving clients in Rhode Island. This role is focused on providing structured outpatient therapy, maintaining high-quality documentation, and supporting clients with clear, goal-oriented treatment plans. Responsibilities
- Provide telehealth therapy sessions to assigned clients on a scheduled basis
- Complete intakes, clinical assessments, and treatment plans in the EMR
- Maintain timely progress notes and documentation per clinical standards
- Apply evidence-informed interventions aligned with client goals
- Monitor clinical progress and adjust treatment direction as appropriate
- Conduct risk assessments and follow escalation procedures when needed
- Coordinate referrals and collaborate with care partners (with consent)
Job Requirements
- Active Rhode Island LMHC license in good standing
- Master’s degree in Counseling or a related behavioral health field
- Experience providing outpatient psychotherapy (telehealth preferred, not required)
- Strong documentation skills and comfort working in an EMR
- Ability to maintain a professional, consistent Monday–Friday schedule
