Boeing Phantom Works has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Network Designer to join us as part of the Virtual Warfare Center team located in Berkeley, MO. The Virtual Warfare Center's Infrastructure team is responsible for the design, maintenance, and operation of the computing, networking, audio visual, and physical environment. The VWC has several locations across the United States dedicated to large scale Modeling & Simulation engagements. Position Responsibilities: Leads the identification, analysis and documentation of requirements for network transport technologies and services. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience): Active Top Secret Clearance 9+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience Experience with Design, Implementation and Troubleshooting of Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN) Experience with Cisco routers and switches & Cisco IOS implementations Experience utilizing Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) network protocols Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience): CCNA or other Cisco Certification Security+ Certified (or similar certification meeting DoD Directive 8570.01 Certification Requirements) SCI eligibility pre-hire highly preferred Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.
