Job Description
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Economics, Business or a related field
- Associate of Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation or higher
- At least three (3) years of healthcare actuarial experience
- Meet eligibility requirements for Humana's Actuarial Professional Development Program (APDP)
- Proficiency with Excel
- Strong communication skills
- Demonstrable skills in presenting technical concepts to a non-technical audience in an understandable way

Lead and grow a team delivering provider-focused actuarial models and advisory solutions. Drive strategy for risk adjustment, capitation, and value-based contracting; integrate data science/AI into actuarial processes; oversee forecasting for Medicare ACO programs; advise executive clients using claims and revenue analytics; ensure regulatory compliance and manage budgets, timelines, and resources.
