Job Description
• Conduct RFP/RFQ exercises on behalf of local field offices for assigned categories
• Ensure prompt sourcing, technical support, and competitive procurement of non-catalog items
• Maintain a high service level (SLA) by evaluating customer demand and expediting material
• Provide clear, accurate and timely guidance to field teams regarding requisitions, approvals, sourcing options, and system usage
• Analyze trends in helpdesk inquiries, requisition errors and sourcing challenges to recommend process improvements
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in supply chain or related business function
- Knowledge of the elevator industry is a plus
- Strategic planning mindset with strong analytical and tactical skills
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, with good interpersonal skills
- Strong written and oral communication abilities
- Proficient in business processes, systems, and analytical tools
- Understanding of lean manufacturing is a plus
- Ability to travel up to 10% for onsite meetings
- Authorization to work in the U.S. now and in the future without sponsorship
