Role Summary Zeta Global is seeking a VP of Sales to lead sales development and to oversee a managed-service media sales team. The VP of Sales/Client Partnerships will have 4-8 Directors reporting to him/her. This position will work to promote our data-driven media to advertising agencies including both holding companies and independent agencies alike, with the intent of building and growing strategic relationships. In this role you will manage the sales process for your region from prospecting to close while ensuring excellent service and support to prospects and clients. The ideal candidate will be focused on monitoring lead follow-up for sales development and have a proven track record of meeting measurable sales goals. A successful candidate will have a contagious and insatiable desire to win and an inherent interest in the ad technology landscape. Responsibilities: Develop a strategic plan to achieve revenue goals; hit or exceed these revenue goals Develop and maintain strong active relationships with key client stakeholders at both senior and mid-management levels Understand agency, advertiser, data and vendor landscapes and trends, reporting these to the organization; who are the major players and how they buy Understand and effectively communicate Zeta Global’s value proposition, technology, processes, partnerships as it relates to growth of current and prospective client accounts Ideally has an in-depth knowledge of the industry and of the biddable media marketplace —past, present, and future Plans, directs and coordinates sales activities, including management of the sales pipeline Leverages external relationships and personal network to generate sales leads Regularly involved in all phases of the sales lifecycle including:  identifying and developing leads; meeting with clients; developing value propositions; financial deal structuring; to contract negotiation and closing Advises pursuit team in crafting and positioning deals and closing. COMPENSATION RANGE The compensation range for this role is $300,000.00 - $400,000.00, depending on location and experience. Job Requirements

  • Positive attitude
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Strong understanding of advertising agency industry
  • 15+ years of proven experience in consultative sales process selling digital media, data and/or SaaS products
  • 10+ years of sales management experience preferred
  • Knowledge of the online media business and underlying technology and research
  • Excellent sales skills including the ability to create and build relationships
  • Demonstrated track record of success and established relationships
  • Strong analytical and consultative skills
  • Effective time management skills – ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Diligent work ethic. Must be self-motivated and able to take the initiative to get the job done
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willing to travel
