Job Description

• The Hydro Services Manager operates within the West Service Hub of GE Vernova Hydro North America. • Responsible for identifying and/or responding to and managing the Service needs of Hydro Power Plant owners within the geographical area covered by the hub location. • During the bid stage of a project, the plant support project manager will be leading and doing the technical and commercial offer with the support of the hub engineer, the Quality team, the field operation representative and the sourcing representative. • During the project stage, the Hydro Services Manager will act as a project manager and main point of contact to the customer. • Conduct site visits, client meetings, listen to customer needs and promote adequate technical solutions. • Deliver Services commercial and technical proposal with the support of the Services regional team. • Build strong relationship and intimacy with GE Vernova client while demonstrating success in the execution of the jobs.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in mechanical or electrical engineering or business administration
Minimum 7 Years professional experience including: experience in Project management (small size/fast track projects/services projects) experience in rotating machines industry experience in customer negotiations
Ability and willingness to travel to Hydro Power Plants 30% of the time
Experience in a commercial role or commercial proposal development role is valued
Engineering or Field Operation experience is valued
Knowledge of the Hydro customers in the area is valued
