We’re looking for a creative self-starter to join our team as a paid digital advertising intern for SPRING 2026 (March 2026 - May 2026).
What does the role involve?
As an advertising intern at Middle Seat, you’ll work with the advertising team by trafficking ads, writing ad copy and petitions, pulling together reports, analyzing ads performance, handling some administrative tasks, and other responsibilities as requested.
This role is available either in person at our Washington, D.C office or remotely. This role is not part of the bargaining unit.
Job Requirements
- This role is for you if:
- You’re excited by the idea of working for left-wing and Democratic clients doing great work on the ground
- You enjoy the idea of testing different creative options and analyzing performance data of each testing variant
- You’re technically adept and pick up new tools easily
- You’re detail-oriented and organized
- You’re a senior, in your last year of an undergraduate program, or a recent grad
- It would be nice if you:
- Have a background in social media management or digital advertising
- Have worked on a political campaign, advocacy organization, or nonprofit
- Have some experience in Facebook Business Manager and Google Ads
- Are a fantastic writer
- And it’s essential that you:
- Are committed to working for left-of-the-left political candidates and causes
- Are a team player
- Follow along with the news of the day and have a solid understanding of the U.S. political system, political campaigns, and key progressive issues (i.e. abortion, racial justice, labor, climate change, etc.
- This position requires full-time (40 hour work week) or near full-time availability.
- Are based in the United States
