Job Description
Job Requirements
- Background and interest in building billing systems and/or tax platforms
- Experience designing and developing highly reliable, fault-tolerant, scalable distributed systems in a cloud environment using Java, Spring Boot, or equivalent technologies
- Experience with NoSQL and SQL multi-region databases such as Cassandra and Aurora Postgres
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Open-minded attitude valuing different perspectives
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity, comfortable defining requirements with stakeholders and iterating
- High degree of ownership and accountability, managing multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Pragmatic approach, considering tradeoffs and making technical decisions based on business goals
- Growth mindset with a continuous drive to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Understanding of finance compliance, including audit and SOX requirements
