• Own and evolve cloud infrastructure in AWS for iGaming platforms with 24/7 availability requirements. • Design and operate multi-account, multi-VPC architectures with secure connectivity and shared services. • Manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform). • Drive architectural improvements for scalability, fault tolerance, and cost efficiency. • Design and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI for frequent and safe releases. • Implement release strategies suitable for iGaming. • Enforce deployment controls for production (manual approvals, gated pipelines, release branches). • Support and maintain self-managed GitLab and Container Registry. • Lead containerization strategy using Docker and ECS Fargate (serverless). • Operate and improve traffic management and routing using Kong API Gateway. • Ensure reliable service-to-service communication and networking under high concurrency. • Build and own observability for production systems. • Define SLOs, SLIs, and alerting strategies to reduce noise and improve MTTR. • Own operational reliability of RDS PostgreSQL. • Work with NoSQL / KV data stores (ElastiCache) for session data and caching. • Support architectures where single databases serve multiple regions or services. • Implement security best practices aligned with iGaming compliance requirements. • Manage DNS, WAF, and security controls via Cloudflare. • Participate in audits, security reviews, and compliance initiatives. • Take a senior role in production support and on-call rotations. • Lead incident response for critical production issues. • Proactively improve system reliability, capacity planning, and disaster recovery. • Act as a technical leader within the DevOps team. • Mentor mid-level engineers and review infrastructure and CI/CD changes. • Collaborate closely with backend, QA, product, and compliance teams. • Maintain high-quality documentation.
