Job Description
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience creating logical and physical data models; demonstrated experience with relational and star schema data modeling
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud implementation and architecture
- Expertise with database architecture
- Expertise with Google Cloud or Databricks or Snowflake
- Expertise using data modeling tools; excellent advanced SQL skills required
- Superior business analysis and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of business intelligence best practice processes, tools, standards and practices
- Strong analytical and conceptual design skills
- Experience with big data, semi-structured data
- Experience with BI tools and visual reporting platforms from an architecture standpoint
- Familiarity working with one major cloud-based data and analytics platform implementation — AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud
- Demonstrated experience and success in facilitation and definition of reporting and analytics business requirements
- Experience with/knowledge of canonical models and enterprise data architectural standards, with long-term outlook
- Experience in migrating from on-premise enterprise data warehouse to cloud-based
- Experience implementing a data lake
- BS / BA in Computer Science, Business, Mathematics or Engineering
