Job Description
• Support the processing of FOIA requests by conducting initial reviews
• Perform searches
• Draft response materials
• Apply exemptions under supervision
• Assist senior staff in maintaining workflow efficiency
• Ensure accuracy and support timely completion of FOIA tasks
Job Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Minimum of one (1) year of FOIA request processing experience within the last 24 months
- Ability to apply FOIA exemptions accurately and consistently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft clear, professional responses
- Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, and database tools
- Ability to conduct effective internet and records research to support FOIA search and review activities
