Job Description
• Aid in the development and implementation of our cloud capabilities
• Tailor cloud and emerging technologies to enhance the business's security and efficiency
• Support SaaS platforms and manage cloud platforms such as AWS
• Analyze complex system behavior for security vulnerabilities and performance issues
• Participate in the Operations Engineering 24/7 weekly on-call rotation (after on-boarding)
• Improve system health and availability through meaningful contributions
• System management including automation of software upgrades, patch management, and troubleshooting
• Support web application farms, load balancing, and CI/CD deployments
• Work closely and collaboratively with peers and team members
• Communicate effectively in verbal and written formats
Job Requirements
- Advanced understanding and experience supporting SaaS platforms
- Strong proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code development
- Experience managing and supporting cloud platforms such as AWS
- Analyze complex system behavior for security vulnerabilities and performance issues
- Participate in the Operations Engineering 24/7 weekly on-call rotation (after on-boarding)
- Make meaningful contributions to improve the system health and availability
- Extensive experience with the Windows Server platform and services (AD, DNS, GPO, PKI, etc.)
- Proven system management capabilities including automation of software upgrades, patch management, and troubleshooting experience
- General knowledge of supporting web application farms, load balancing, and CI/CD deployments
- Ability to work closely with peers and team members collaboratively
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Completion of a degree or certification in a related field or equivalent experience (beneficial)
- Configuration Management and Infrastructure as Code experience (beneficial)
- Experience deploying services to AWS using Terraform, Ansible or similar (beneficial)
- Knowledge of MS SQL Server cluster administration (beneficial)
- Experience deploying Docker containers and orchestration through Kubernetes clusters (bonus)
