Job Description

• Develops and analyzes tests for products and systems • Collaborates with other engineering departments when necessary • Applies advanced consulting skills and extensive technical expertise to develop innovative solutions to complex problems • Works without considerable direction; mentors and may supervise team members • Analyze performance test results and contribute to performance test reports • Establish baseline capacity before and after critical upgrades of infrastructure, configuration, and code • Develop automated test scripts using Selenium or similar test automation tools • Participate in Agile/DevOps processes and deliver solutions using Agile SAFe framework

Job Requirements

  • NEED IRS MBI Clearance
  • 5+ years of experience with performance engineering in design, development, and performance testing
  • Experience in Agile development, Sprints, Story Reviews, Scrum, DevOps
  • Experience analyzing performance test results and contributing to performance test reports
  • Knowledge of performance monitoring tools (AppInternals, AppDynamics, Splunk)
  • Ability to establish baseline capacity before and after critical upgrades of infrastructure, configuration, and code
  • Bachelor's degree (or Master's with 3+ years); years of experience or certifications may be accepted in lieu of degree
  • Knowledge of test-driven development techniques
  • Ability to develop automated test scripts using Selenium or similar tools
  • Agile or Testing certification
  • Experience with Agile SAFe framework
  • Experience with EA modeling and visualization tools (Visio, Tableau, PowerPoint)
  • Experience working with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS)
  • Experience leading projects, tasks, or teams
  • Knowledge of Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM) tools
  • Knowledge of Pega system administration best practices
  • Knowledge of Pega configuration in high-availability cloud environments (AWS or Azure) and AWS cloud architecture concepts
  • Ability to obtain Pega System Architect / Senior System Architect / Lead System Architect Certification within 2 months of start date
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
