Job Description
• Lead R&D projects as the operational face of a Veeva R&D Consulting team, responsible for planning, organizing, and managing all aspects of delivery (scope, quality, resources, risks, timelines)
• Design, build, and deliver project deliverables end-to-end to meet overall goals and objectives
• Identify and proactively solve client problems
• Act as a trusted client contact for strategic and operational questions, developing relationships via workshops, meetings, and communications
• Manage the work and priorities of team members on projects
• Support and mentor Consultants and Associates to develop skills and professional capabilities
• Provide industry, market, and functional insight specific to R&D challenges
• Proactively lead business development opportunities and proposals related to the R&D value chain
• Develop and disseminate thought leadership and campaigns that differentiate Veeva R&D Consulting in the market
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree and excellent academic record
- 5+ years consulting experience in an established strategic/management consulting organization
- Experience in Life Sciences
- Good understanding and deep interest in pharmaceutical R&D, with consulting experience in Regulatory, Clinical, Quality, or Safety
- Good understanding of the R&D value chain and Veeva’s platforms/solutions
- Good understanding of business capabilities and drivers underpinning digital technology in health and life sciences
- Proven analytical skills, able to quantitatively and qualitatively assess problems
- A problem-solving mindset: anticipating issues early and proactively finding solutions
- Demonstrated leadership of others in the delivery of complex deliverables
- Highly efficient project management skills
- Able to work effectively with people at all levels and quickly establish credibility
- Strong personal impact and ability to influence and persuade stakeholders
- Ability to travel roughly up to 25%
