Job Description
• Support Power Uprates for nuclear power clients
• Lead licensing basis evaluations for projects
• Perform consulting level work related to power uprates
• Prepare and review heat balance calculations and evaluations
• Interface with clients and project teams
• Attend client meetings and site walkdowns
• Prepare task reports presenting technical information clearly
Job Requirements
- BSME from an ABET Engineering Accreditation Commission-approved program
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the nuclear power industry
- Experience with nuclear power uprates and/or turbine retrofit projects
- Practical knowledge in balance of plant system evaluations
- Excellent technical report writing skills
- Strong interest in numerical computations and problem solving
- Working knowledge of mechanical engineering codes, standards, and regulations
- Proficiency with MS Office applications
