Job Description
• Lead and scale a team of in-house video editors, including immediate responsibility for hiring at least two new team members within your first few months
• Audit and assess the entire video production queue and current workflows, identifying opportunities for efficiency, quality improvement, and scalability
• Develop and implement a strategic resourcing plan to meet increasing video demand, balancing in-house talent with external freelancers and partners
• Own the operational excellence of the video team, establishing clear processes, creative briefs, and project management standards to ensure a seamless workflow from concept to completion
• Serve as a strategic partner to cross-functional marketing leaders, providing expert guidance on video strategy, storytelling, and best practices
• Maintain a high level of craft and brand consistency across all video assets, ensuring the team’s output is on-brand and aligns with business objectives
• Manage the video budget responsibly, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and projects are delivered on time and within scope
• Mentor and develop individual contributors, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation and continuous learning
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience in video production, motion graphics, and visual storytelling, with a strong focus on B2B marketing
- 3+ years of experience hiring, scaling, and managing an in-house video team, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Proven history of leading and managing teams of individual contributors, freelancers, and external agencies
- Deep operational expertise in managing a high-volume video production queue, including project management, resource allocation, and workflow optimization
- A portfolio that demonstrates a history of successfully leading teams to produce high-quality, impactful video content across a variety of B2B marketing applications
- Expert knowledge of video production workflows and editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.)
- Exceptional organizational and communications skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and to communicate clearly with business leaders
- Strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends, anticipate future needs, and proactively plan for growth
- Strong leadership and mentorship skills, with a passion for developing talent and fostering a collaborative team environment
- Travel to event locations may be required
