Job Description
• Prospect new leads, opportunities, and accounts based on desired market and consumer product trends
• Identify products and process technology trends within the industry to advise engineering departments in areas to invest for expansion of knowledge and modular solutions
• Stay on top of all new technology within Krones PT organization, the industry, and customers market demands
• Prioritize/manage requests for quotes, work with a team to develop technical detailed proposals and submit them in timely accurate manner
• Follow up with all active opportunities and proposals until decisions are made, diagnose and report lost opportunities
• Mediate customers negotiations, translating technical solutions into simplified functional explanations increasing customer engagement and understanding of superior design offerings
• Facilitate resolution of customer issues, promote compromise while maintaining relationships
• Travel to different facilities and/or customer sites as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, training, and education
- 5+ years of experience in the process industry, specifically process integrator or manufacturer of equipment and systems
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task and establish priorities
- Proficiency with PC and Windows Operating system, Microsoft Office Suite
- Market knowledge, knowledge of business administration, and knowledge of policies, directives, guidelines, and standards
- Understands process flow and can read P&ID drawings
