Job Description
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Five (5) years of coding experience in an acute care facility using ICD-10-CM and CPT coding and/or DRG assignment is required.
- Knowledge and experience with medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and general office practices, as well as familiarity with state and federal laws governing the release of medical information is required.
- RHIA, RHIT or CCS certification is required.
