Job Description
• You’ll be responsible for ChowNow’s data platform, built on Snowflake, dbt, and AWS.
• You’ll partner with data scientists to build the tools that inject high-quality data and insights into both internal decision-making and customer-facing products.
• You’ll help shape our evolving modern data stack, contributing to data-driven experimentation.
• Identify and act on opportunities to improve the availability, accuracy, timeliness, and accessibility of the data platform.
Job Requirements
- You have overall 5+ years of data modeling, data pipelines and 2+ years of hands-on experience using dbt in a production environment
- You have excellent skills in analytical SQL and building data pipelines
- You have a strong understanding of cloud data warehouses (Snowflake is a huge plus)
- You are comfortable using Python for orchestration, integration and scripting
- You love diving into data to understand what it means and how it affects the business
- You like collaborating with multiple stakeholders within and outside the Data team
- You enjoy iterative, agile-like development process with frequent releases
- You take pleasure in writing quality, highly maintainable code and documentation
- You thrive in environments supporting your growth, and where you can support others
- You’re excited about new technologies and spend time staying up to date in the industry
- You have a passion for fitting pragmatic solutions to problems
