Job Description

• Understand Customer Current State and proactively drive discovery • Research industry trends and develop discovery approaches • Create and lead workshops to drive relevant discovery • Document customer current state • Identify customer stakeholders and their needs • Create and lead technical solution approaches and next steps • Align, vet, and coordinate Presidio and vendor partner technical resources as needed • Engage Manager/VP/Director level at clients directly • Analyze and assess client requirements and determine target architecture and design solutions • Create and deliver compelling technical proposals to clients • Maintain a high level of technical excellence and evangelism • Lead the curation and delivery of relevant technical presentations • Actively participate in technical champion programs • Engage with Presidio team members and participate in team activities

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience
7+ years of working experience in systems engineering or solution architecture
5+ years of experience with AWS including previous hands-on experience of migrating workloads to AWS
Experience in a consulting role
An understanding and knowledge of Cloud Migration frameworks and strategies
An understanding and knowledge of Cloud adoption models and approaches
Expert-level knowledge and experience with design, implementation and support of one or more of the following is required: Cloud Management Platforms, compute and storage architectures & platforms, Data Protection Platforms, container platforms, infrastructure as code tools
Demonstrated comfort leading presentations, solution demonstrations and whiteboard sessions
Drive for trying new ideas and actively seek mentoring and coaching
