Job Description
• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify communication disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language goals
• Provide direct therapy services to students with various communication disorders
• Work closely with teachers, special education staff, and other professionals to support students in inclusive classrooms
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
Job Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current New York State license in Speech-Language Pathology
- New York State Teaching Certification in Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working in a school setting is highly desirable
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt intervention strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
