• The Outpatient Complex Coder position handles coding and abstracting for complex outpatient surgical and observation services across all Banner hospitals, including academic, trauma, and high-acuity settings. • Reviews records, assigns ICD-CM/PCS and CPT codes, completes APC assignments, and ensures accurate, ethical coding per regulations and national guidelines. • Must be able to code any of the following: 1. Orthopedics (Head to Toe) 2. Pain Management (Injections + Implants) 3. Neurosurgery (Spine Fusions, Spine + Neck) 4. ENT 5. General Surgery 6. Observation 7. Gynecology – Robotic Procedures 8.
