Job Description
• Develop and maintain security operations for Spinnaker Support’s products and services.
• Guide clients on implementing security best practices for Oracle Fusion Middleware, with a focus on WebLogic and Oracle HTTP Server.
• Provide expert advice on attack surface reduction and defense-in-depth strategies for Oracle systems.
• Lead and execute security projects for support, services, and consulting engagements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and managers across regions to deliver security services and support.
• Communicate effectively with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Contribute to defining and delivering Spinnaker Support’s security approach within the third-party support and managed services markets.
• Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends with focus on Oracle, SAP, and VMware.
Job Requirements
- 12+ years of experience working with Oracle Fusion Middleware / Oracle EBS
- 5+ years in a client-facing role within large organizations, preferably those utilizing managed services.
- Extensive hands-on experience in hardening Oracle systems such as E-Business Suite.
- Deep knowledge of Oracle Fusion Middleware architecture and defense-in-depth strategies for WebLogic or similar application servers.
- Security or hardening experience; security certification preferred.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools is beneficial.
- Strong understanding of security architecture across multiple deployment platforms (network, firewall, computer, storage, database, and application).
- Knowledge of common network topologies and their application to security mitigation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and consultative skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proven multitasking and project management capabilities.
- Service-oriented mindset with strong customer engagement and leadership skills.
- Goal-oriented with high standards for quality and performance.
