Job Description

• Serve as the primary subject-matter expert for Forter’s payments solutions, guiding the full lifecycle of payments opportunities—from strategically identifying opportunities through customer adoption. • Act as the key connector between Sales, Product, Marketing, and Engineering. Synthesize insights from the market, customers, and partners to inform product strategy and influence roadmap decisions. • Represent Forter as a trusted authority on payments—educating the market, supporting merchants in navigating complex payments challenges, and elevating Forter’s perspective at industry events, advisory sessions, and other external forums.

Job Requirements

A minimum of 10+ years of experience in the payments industry, with a deep, nuanced understanding of the e-commerce ecosystem.
Technical and business mastery of processes including card vaulting, authorization optimization, 3DS authentication, processor routing, and network tokenization.
Direct, hands-on experience as a "merchant payments and fraud person" at major enterprises (e.g., a Microsoft, Nordstrom, or equivalent) is a strong indicator of relevant expertise.
Exceptional ability to create and deliver compelling, value-based presentations to senior business and technical audiences, from C-level executives to engineering leads.
Proven success in a Go-to-Market (GTM) leadership role or B2B customer-facing role is a huge plus.
