Job Description

• Design, implement, tune, and maintain Cisco/Fortinet networks, firewalls, and wireless systems • Monitor resource usage and optimize performance • Develop procedures to prevent and minimize outages • Create and maintain configuration and support documentation • Provide professional technical assistance to staff, administrators, vendors, and service providers • Resolve escalated help desk requests • Participate in on-call rotations • Manage projects and program components to meet organizational objectives • Administer systems and servers to ensure service availability • Maintain multi-site network operations across private and public facilities

Job Requirements

3+ years of experience in an IT Enterprise environment
Strong knowledge of routing/switching and firewall configuration
Expertise in spanning tree protocol, OSPF, IPSEC, and SSL VPNs
Experience with network configuration and monitoring
Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field (preferred)
Knowledge of Microsoft AD network integration for authentication
1+ years of healthcare industry experience (preferred)
Hands-on experience with Cisco ASA and Fortinet security hardware (preferred)
Experience building and maintaining IPSEC and SSL VPN connections (preferred)
Knowledge of switching, dynamic routing, VRFs, Nexus, MPLS, Point-to-Point Circuits, IP-SLA, and network/data security (preferred)
CCNA certification a plus (preferred)
Experience working with non-profits or healthcare organizations (preferred)
