Job Description
Job Requirements
- Motivated by the Khan Academy mission “to provide a free world-class education for anyone, anywhere."
- Proven cross-cultural competency skills demonstrating self-awareness, awareness of other, and the ability to adopt inclusive perspectives, attitudes, and behaviors to drive inclusion and belonging throughout the organization.
- Background in applied math, statistics, economics, or a related technical field
- 5+ years of experience in data science or analytics
- Proficient with statistical techniques (i.e., multiple regression, causal inference, AB testing, hypothesis testing) for real-world applications
- Advanced SQL foundations & ability to manipulate data using R or Python
- Compelling data storytelling and visualization (i.e. Looker) with the ability to communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders
- Strong business intuition & judgment, with a knack for asking the right questions to drive impact
- Prior experience working in the education industry is a plus
