Job Description
• Formulate and execute strategic plans to drive business growth and expand market presence
• Discover and pursue new business opportunities and strategic partnerships within the logistics sector
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to enhance business partnerships
• Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends and competitor activities to inform and refine business strategies
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of business development professionals to achieve targets and foster a high-performance culture
• Partner with internal teams to ensure the effective delivery of services and operational success
• Prepare and present detailed proposals, comprehensive reports, and accurate forecasts to senior management
• Develop strategies to attract new clients and secure parcel volumes, contributing to the company's growth and revenue
• Undertake other duties as assigned to support the overall success of our business and adapt to evolving company needs
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Logistics, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in business development or sales within the logistics industry (specifically small parcel last mile delivery)
- Proven track record of achieving business growth and revenue targets
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze data and market trends to drive strategic decisions
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency in Salesforce
- Willingness to travel as required
