Job Description

• Evaluate, select, and engineer systems or products for water and wastewater projects. • Complete engineering calculations, field work, write reports, and technical documents working under the direction and supervision of a senior engineer. • Interpret sketches and engineering drawings related to pipeline networks, storm water/drainage design, and water distribution systems. • Communicate project requirements, coordinate tasks and help train entry-level staff. • Attend client meetings and record meeting discussions.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor’s, progressive related work experience; OR a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field, and 2 years of related work experience.
  • 2 years of experience with pipeline networks, gravity and pressure systems, hydrology and hydraulics, geotechnical survey, storm water, drainage design, and water distribution systems.
  • Experience with ArcGIS and InfoWorks ICM.
  • Hydraulic modeling of water and drainage networks.
  • Interpreting sketches and engineering drawings.
  • Telecommuting permitted up to 5 days a week, depending on business need.
