Job Description
• Own product strategy and roadmaps across underwriting, claims, broker and partner platforms
• Write clear user stories/PRDs and partner closely with engineering, design, underwriting, and operations
• Translate insurance logic (eligibility, rating, filings, underwriting rules) into scalable software
• Lead sprint planning, prioritization, release readiness, and feature delivery
• Use data to refine UX, improve broker/underwriter efficiency, and increase quote-to-bind conversion
• Work with external data partners
Job Requirements
- 3–5+ years as a PM in SaaS, fintech, InsurTech, or commercial insurance systems
- Strong technical literacy (APIs, data flows, workflow engines)
- Experience with P&C—ideally Cyber, E&O, or Commercial Lines
- Excellent communication: crisp specs, clear prioritization, confident stakeholder alignment
- Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, ambiguous startup environment with high ownership
- Nice to Have: Experience with underwriting workbenches, PAS, quoting engines, or MGA/carrier systems
- Familiarity with reinsurance, filings, producer workflows, and bordereaux data
- SQL/GraphQL or data analysis skills
