Job Description
• Represent Rockwell Automation's full portfolio of products and services, continuously building expertise in customer-critical areas.
• Engage with senior and executive leaders, demonstrating clear economic value tied to business drivers, KPIs, and competitive advantages.
• Drive growth through collaboration and indirect leadership of extended teams, balancing efforts across multiple customer levels.
• Build trust-based, strategic relationships with key sponsors, formalizing expectations and creating growth strategies for all products and services globally.
• Quickly qualify opportunities to focus resources on high-potential activities.
• Ensure the Strategic Account has access to all Rockwell Automation resources by developing strong internal partnerships across product groups and global teams.
• Participate in customer planning and implementation teams to provide early input and recommend strategies that deliver mutual benefit.
• Identify new growth opportunities across products and services for shared success.
• Develop and communicate an annual Strategic Account plan in coordination with global sales and support teams, tracking progress throughout the year.
• Expand Rockwell Automation's global presence and ensure consistent delivery across regions.
• Travel as needed to communicate objectives, engage extended teams, and pursue global growth opportunities.
• Define and share mutually agreed success stories as industry references to support global selling efforts.
• Model executive-level sales presence and mentor colleagues when appropriate.
• Apply company policies and procedures in compliance with legal, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of work experience
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally 50% of time.
- A valid drivers license.
- Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering discipline (Preferred).
- Typically requires 5+ years of experience in technical sales, industrial distribution, systems integration or an engineering firm, or graduate of the Rockwell Automation Sales Training Program (Preferred).
- Experience managing global accounts (Preferred).
- Applied experience in one or more areas related to selling control/information solutions into our target industries (Preferred).
- Experience selling at the senior management and executive levels, and convey Rockwell Automation's products and services in a manner which demonstrate tangible economic value (Preferred).
