Job Description

• Elicit, document, and manage business and functional requirements (use cases, process flows, data models, traceability). • Analyze current vs. future state processes; document business rules and impacts. • Develop/write design documents and diagram business processes and workflows. • Support implementation of SaaS/COTS solutions, mainframe data migrations, and data warehouse initiatives. • Translate business needs into clear functional and system specifications. • Coordinate with business, technical, and QA teams to align on scope and design. • Help define and execute user acceptance testing (UAT) plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria. • Review requirements/designs and translate them into test procedures and scenarios. • Support smoke, regression, and functional testing; assist with defect triage and resolution. • Analyze production issues, determine root causes, and document required data/system corrections. • Work closely with support and development teams on fixes and process improvements. • Lead workshops and working sessions with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams. • Communicate clearly in written and verbal form, including technical documentation and presentations.

Job Requirements

  • 10+ years of business analysis experience on software development projects.
  • 10+ years with: Requirements elicitation, documentation (use cases, traceability, data modeling, prototyping).
  • Facilitating sessions with business and cross-functional teams.
  • Writing design documents and mapping/documenting business processes.
  • Supporting UAT, training, and implementation activities.
  • Production support/root-cause analysis.
  • 8+ years with: Software QA/Software Engineering methodologies.
  • Writing/verifying test plans and test cases.
  • Working within a defined SDLC.
  • JIRA (stories, test cases, execution, reporting).
  • Strong SQL/Oracle query skills and understanding of manual/automation testing concepts.
  • Strong English communication skills (written, verbal, presentation) and advanced use of MS Office and process/mockup tools (e.g., Visio, SnagIt, Axure, Adobe tools).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
