Job Description
• Travel to customer or plant sites to perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on chemical pumps, plumbing systems, and field instrumentation.
• Inspect, test, and repair electrical circuits, instrumentation, and chemical metering systems, including reading schematics, P&IDs, and process flow diagrams.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to resolve technical issues and ensure adherence to USP standard practices.
• Maintain accurate documentation of service performed, schedules, and any changes in project scope, using Microsoft Office and collaboration tools.
• Operate machinery such as forklifts when necessary and ensure compliance with all safety protocols and PPE requirements.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in field equipment service and chemical pump maintenance.
- Strong technical skills in plumbing, electrical circuits (120/208 VAC, single and three-phase), instrumentation (flowmeters, level sensors, VFDs, RTDs, thermocouples), and electrical troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, P&IDs, process flow diagrams, and BOMs.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills; capable of managing own schedule and adapting to changes in project scope.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record and willingness to travel, including overnight stays and air travel when required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams) and familiarity with online collaboration tools.
