Job Description
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors at all levels and across multiple functional areas.
• Create, track, and follow up with LF and Distributor personnel on demand creation focus account distributor programs
• Support and grow the LF distribution sales channel within the region
• Primary interface for Branch Managers, Product Managers, and sales personnel/reps for key distributors in order to gain maximum mind share
• Establish and execute on mutual growth objectives with distributors driven by effective training programs such as NPI (new product introduction), design reviews, and quarterly business reviews.
• Link sales and branch FAEs to maximize multi-technology demand creation and sales, support and maintain LF’s Distributor Registration program
• Understand distributors requirements and recommend suitable electronic components (circuit protection, switches, power semiconductors, sensors, relay, and circuit breakers).
• Collaborate with distribution Field Application engineering teams to ensure customer needs are met.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings.
• Communicate product features, benefits, and technical specifications effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and customer interactions.
• Prepare reports for management on sales performance and market conditions.
• Quotation support and follow up - Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field
- Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in electronic components
- Five to seven years of experience - Strong understanding of electronic circuits, components, and applications
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to travel 50% to distribution branches within your region
- Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems
- Knowledge of industry standards and compliance requirements
- Problem-solving mindset and customer-oriented approach
- Presentation and Public Speaking to groups in branch setting
- The ability to maintain effective working relationships with Sales teams, local Sales Reps, Channel Partners, Product Managers, Technical Marketing, Marcom and Corporate functions
