• Own and optimize all aspects of the revenue cycle, including billing operations, claims management, collections, and payer performance. • Lead and manage the Billing department, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and accountability across all billing and collections operations. • Build a culture of performance, ownership, and continuous improvement within the team. • Oversee claims submission, payment posting, denials, and collections. • Maintain best-in-class metrics for denial rates, first-pass resolution, and Days in A/R. • Design and maintain automated KPI dashboards for real-time visibility into team performance. • Implement targeted strategies to reduce insurance A/R over 120 days. • Monitor reimbursement trends and payer performance. • Identify opportunities to increase reimbursement per session and overall yield. • Identify and implement automation and technology solutions (e.g., RPA, AI-driven denial analysis, workflow automation). • Partner with internal teams and vendors to deploy new tools and systems. • Redesign workflows to improve speed, accuracy, and scalability. • Act as primary point of contact for payer relationships and escalations. • Provide regular performance and financial impact reports to the CEO and Finance leadership. • Collaborate closely with Clinical, Operations, and Executive teams.
