Job Description

• Develop, qualify, and sell products and services while maintaining sales relationships. • Own end-to-end new business opportunities, from lead generation to deal closure. • Personally source, shape, and qualify new business opportunities. • Manage complex sales cycles from opportunity identification to contract closure. • Develop, maintain, and execute account plans for national security clients. • Present business solutions at the executive level and promote offerings across the Federal/national security marketplace. • Define and present compelling, customized value propositions and demonstrate technology and solutions to prospects and clients. • Use Salesforce to manage all aspects of prospecting, opportunity management, forecasting, client communications, contacts, activities, and tasks.

Job Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience closing 7-figure accounts.
  • 5-10+ years of experience working within the national defense/defense technology ecosystem.
  • Familiarity with the Pentagon and navigation of the DoD.
  • 3+ years of experience meeting and exceeding revenue goals in technology sales.
  • Proven ability to close large and complex deals.
  • Demonstrated success in new account development.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic, strategic mindset, and dedication.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Current possession of a U.S. security clearance or ability to obtain one with sponsorship.
  • Experience in a startup or entrepreneurial environment.
  • Familiarity with the DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) processes.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM.
