Job Description
• Develop and implement a regional sales growth strategy to expand into new territories and maximize existing accounts.
• Identify customer needs and collaborate with the Marketing department to develop innovative products that meet market demands.
• Generate accurate revenue forecasts and work closely with the Sales Director to create comprehensive budgets.
• Promote Smiths Interconnect's products and capabilities to potential and existing clients.
• Analyze key performance indicators using the CRM system to track and improve sales performance.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, facilitating connections between Smiths' executives and key customer contacts when appropriate.
• Represent the company at industry events, technical conferences, and other sales-related functions as directed by management.
Job Requirements
- Extensive knowledge and experience in the semiconductor industry, with a focus on connectors and test products
- Minimum of 5 years of direct field sales experience in a relevant industry
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time, subject to current travel restrictions
- Strong technical comprehension with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Proficiency in organizing and conducting virtual customer visits and presentations
- Must be a US citizen or permanent resident to comply with ITAR regulations for specific accounts.
