Job Description

• Under the direction of the Manufacturing Technologies Manager, this position will be responsible for assisting in process improvements, equipment design, and project management associated with the various manufacturing processes. • Assist in the evaluation of manufacturing processes including product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling and materials and develop and implement improvements. • Studying product requirements, inspecting equipment, processes, operations, assembly, testing manufacturing methods utilized. • Develop maintenance procedures for repair services by following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures, requesting special service. • Prepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information to justify machine improvements, process changes and/or capital investments. • Create and maintain drawings in both CAD and Inventor formats. • Provide manufacturing engineering information. • Comply with all applicable government regulations. • Undertake other duties as may be assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Applied Engineering.
  • Candidate needs to be a self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong mechanical aptitudes a plus.
  • Strong verbal and technical writing skills with the ability to communicate to broad audiences.
  • Knowledge of quality tools and continuous improvements methodologies, a plus. (FMEA, Root Cause, 5S, Six Sigma, and Process Flow Analysis)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office to include, Outlook, Excel, and Word, Autodesk Inventor or similar 3D modeling software.
