Adswerve is looking for a MarTech Engineering Manager to join our Adobe Services Team. In this role, you will act as the primary technical lead for Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Customer Journey Analytics (CJA), and Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) projects. You will bridge the gap between high-level strategy and technical execution, managing a team of engineers to deliver scalable, high-performance data solutions. This position is ideal for a hands-on leader who enjoys solving complex architectural puzzles while mentoring a talented technical team.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the technical lead for AEP, CJA, and AJO, defining the roadmap, architecture, and best practices for data ingestion and activation across client projects.
- Manage and mentor a team of MarTech engineers, ensuring high delivery quality, adherence to coding standards, and professional growth.
- Architect and oversee deployment of Adobe Web SDK (Alloy.js) and Adobe Edge Network for client side and server side data collection frameworks.
- Design XDM schema models, event taxonomies, and datastream configurations tailored to specific client business and analytics requirements.
- Lead cross-channel data integrations to enable CJA reporting and journey insights, ensuring a seamless flow of data from source to activation.
- Provide technical guidance for client migrations from legacy Adobe Analytics (AppMeasurement) and tag management solutions to modern Web SDK and Edge-based architectures.
- Establish and enforce governance frameworks covering data quality, consent management, and regulatory compliance (GDPR/CCPA).
- Serve as a senior technical advisor to client stakeholders (Marketing, Analytics, and Engineering), translating business objectives into functional Adobe platform solutions.
- Partner with Sales and Delivery teams to scope new projects, support pre-sales efforts, and align implementations with Adobe’s product roadmap.
Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), including Real-Time Customer Profile, Identity Service, and Query Service.
- 3+ years of experience managing or leading a technical team in an agency or enterprise environment.
- Proven track record of implementing Adobe Real-Time CDP, Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), and Customer Journey Analytics (CJA).
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of Adobe Experience Platform integrations (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Target, Campaign, other source connectors)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead technical conversations and present to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Certifications in Adobe CJA/AEP are a plus
