Job Description
Role Description
The Project Manager is the founding leader of TrueAero's Change & Enablement function and this is not a coordination role. You will own how cross-functional initiatives are structured, how technology changes land across the business, and how process improvement work gets done with measurable outcomes.
Critically, this role bridges the gap between technical execution and business impact. While the ESO team owns platform configuration and technical builds, the Project Manager owns the process side:
- Understanding what the business needs
- Documenting workflows and requirements
- Aligning stakeholders
- Ensuring that what gets built gets used
This role is positioned to grow into the Director of Change & Enablement as the function matures and the team expands.
Qualifications
- Proven project management experience with a track record of successfully delivering cross-functional initiatives.
- Experience leading business analysis or process improvement work - shaping what gets built and why.
- Strong command of structured methodologies (Agile, waterfall, or hybrid) with the judgment to apply the right approach.
- PMP certification preferred but not required - relevant experience and outcomes matter most.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; able to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences and vice versa.
- Proficiency with Asana or similar tools; familiarity with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, AvSight, or LeaseWorks is a plus.
- A strategic mindset paired with the ability to get into the details when the work demands it.
- Collaborative, low-ego approach - this team does its best work through trust and shared accountability.
Requirements
- Lead high-effort software releases and cross-functional initiatives from initiation through post-deployment, including major platform upgrades such as AvSight and Salesforce.
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Coordinate lower-effort SaaS updates and communicate changes to affected teams in a structured, clear way.
- Maintain project portfolio dashboards and reporting to provide leadership with accurate, timely visibility.
- Identify and escalate project risks early; apply sound judgment on prioritization and sequencing.
- Partner with department stakeholders across Leasing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations to document workflows, surface pain points, and define system requirements.
- Bridge the gap between what business teams need and what the technical team builds - translating business requirements into actionable, well-scoped requests.
- Drive efficiency projects with clear, measurable ROI and document outcomes.
- Work alongside the Salesforce Administrator to ensure process design informs technical solutions, not the other way around.
- Develop and deliver user training programs and enablement workshops tied to system and process changes.
- Design and manage feedback loops and adoption surveys to measure the effectiveness of change initiatives.
- Champion the Standards of Excellence framework: standardized release documentation, post-deployment reviews, and stakeholder alignment through intake and prioritization committees.
- Own and evolve the Innovation Lab's internal knowledge base, including AI-assisted references, playbooks, and process documentation.
- Reduce tribal knowledge risk by systematically capturing institutional knowledge across the team and the systems we support.
- Build trusted relationships with department leaders to manage expectations, gather input, and maintain alignment.
- Facilitate stakeholder alignment sessions, intake processes, and prioritization discussions.
- Over time, mentor the Project Coordinator and eventually manage a broader Change & Enablement team.
Benefits
- This is a rare opportunity to build something from the ground up inside a growing aviation company.
- The role re-establishes the Change & Enablement function and shapes what it becomes.
- The Innovation Lab has a strong strategic vision, leadership support, and a team that genuinely enjoys working together.
- If you want ownership, impact, and a clear path to grow into a Director-level leader, this role is designed for that.
