Hanger, Inc. is seeking a strategic and hands-on Senior HCM Advisor to support our Human Capital Management (HCM) systems and processes. This role is critical in ensuring the successful implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of our HCM platform, with a strong focus on technical configuration, data management, and workflow enhancements. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in HCM systems and a collaborative mindset to drive operational excellence across the employee lifecycle.

Your Impact

Implementation Phase

  • Lead the configuration of fast formulas to support in-scope HCM modules (e.g., Core HR, Compensation, Payroll, Absence Management, Time & Labor).
  • Lead the configuration of integrations to internal and third-party systems to support in-scope HCM modules.
  • Lead the configuration of reports and support data extract strategies to ensure smooth data conversion and accurate reporting for in-scope HCM modules.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement required organizational structures within the HCM system.
  • Assist in workflow customization to streamline approvals and notifications across HR processes.
  • Provide technical guidance and contribute to system configuration efforts, ensuring alignment with business requirements and compliance standards.
  • Prepare for release management activities including testing, documentation, and deployment coordination.

Post-Implementation Support

  • Provide ongoing technical support of the HCM application, including troubleshooting, enhancements/updates, patching and user support.
  • Manage the creation and tracking of Service Requests (SRs) for system issues and enhancements.
  • Maintain and optimize workflow configurations to adapt to evolving business needs.
  • Maintain fast formulas, reports, and integrations. Lead configuration of new technical objects when dictated by business needs.
  • Oversee data extract routines for audits, analytics, and operational reporting.
  • Participate in release management cycles, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption.
  • Support system configuration updates in response to policy changes or process improvements.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in systems with an emphasis on HR technologies (e.g., Oracle HCM Cloud, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors).
  • Proven experience in HCM configuration, workflow design, and data management.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and lead team members in building SQL‑based solutions.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Must have, or be eligible to obtain, a valid driver’s license and driving record within the standards outlined within Hanger’s Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience providing technical guidance to HR, Payroll, IT, and cross‑functional teams.
  • Deep expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud configuration across Core HR, Absence, Time & Labor, Compensation, and/or Payroll modules.
  • Ability to manage and guide teams in developing Fast Formulas, HCM Extracts, OTBI/BI Publisher reports, and HDL/HSDL data processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead root cause analysis and drive resolution across configuration, data, integrations, and security layers.
  • Strong command of release management processes, including quarterly update readiness, regression planning, and testing oversight.
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure, accurately meet deadlines, present a professional demeanor and work well independently.
  • Customer service skills, including the ability to manage and respond to different customer situations while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude.
  • Act with integrity in all ways and at all times, remaining honest, transparent, and respectful in all relationships.
  • Keep the patient at the center of everything that you do, building lifelong trust.

Pay range of $174,000 to $100,000 annual salary + annual bonus: up to 15% of base pay depending on bonus criteria.  This pay range is posted to comply with wage transparency laws.  Hanger salary ranges vary based on skill, ability, knowledge, geographic location and other variables.
