• Responsible for handling litigation. • Analyze legal and factual issues, conduct extensive, well-reasoned legal research, independently develop and present defense strategies on behalf of clients. • Prepare pleadings, written discovery, depositions, motions and briefs in support of defense strategies with supervision. • Provide effective and timely communications, information, legal advice and other services to clients and claims on legal and factual issues. • Independently prepares and presents witnesses and evidence at trials, judicial and administrative hearings, arbitrations and alternative dispute resolutions. • Attend CLE seminar. • Develop and execute strategic legal defenses for Workers' Compensation cases. • Manage a case load of between 90-100 cases in chief (including master and companion files). • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis of complex issues.
