Role Description
Orium is building a bench of Senior Product Management contractors to support future, project-based enterprise digital commerce engagements across discovery, delivery, and optimization.
- Support complex digital initiatives for enterprise clients.
- Contribute to the strategy, planning, and execution of sophisticated digital experiences.
- Work with a high degree of autonomy, partnering directly with client stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Engagements suited for experienced product practitioners comfortable navigating ambiguity.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience providing product management or product leadership services, ideally in consulting, agency, or client-services environments.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex, multi-stream digital initiatives end-to-end.
- Strong executive-level communication, facilitation, and stakeholder advisory skills.
- Experience with eCommerce platforms, headless CMS, composable architectures, and modern digital ecosystems.
- Proven ability to operate independently, manage ambiguity, and deliver structured outcomes in fast-moving environments.
- Comfort using AI tools to support research, documentation, planning, and scenario analysis.
Requirements
- Act as a primary product contact for client engagements, supporting product vision, roadmap direction, and delivery priorities from discovery through launch.
- Identify opportunities, risks, and solutions that balance business goals, user value, technical considerations, and budget.
- Plan and facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and structured decision-making frameworks.
- Build and maintain clear, data-informed release plans and prioritization frameworks.
- Manage the product backlog, ensuring user stories, acceptance criteria, dependencies, and constraints are clearly defined and up to date.
- Produce high-quality product requirements documentation, including functional, non-functional, and data requirements.
- Support end-to-end delivery across discovery, requirements definition, backlog management, execution, acceptance, and launch preparation.
- Collaborate closely with design, technology, and data teams to validate feasibility, clarify requirements, and ensure shared understanding.
- Facilitate delivery ceremonies and present progress, risks, and decisions to clients and relevant stakeholders.
- Navigate trade-offs across scope, schedule, budget, and quality, escalating with clear recommendations when required.
