Role Description
We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Test Lead to oversee quality assurance and testing activities for enterprise system initiatives. The role involves leading the testing team throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and ensuring successful execution of system, integration, and user acceptance testing. The Test Lead will collaborate with technical teams, analysts, and business stakeholders to manage test planning, execution, and defect resolution while maintaining high-quality delivery standards.
- Lead and coordinate testing activities across the project lifecycle.
- Provide guidance and oversight to technical resources, analysts, and business users during testing phases.
- Develop test plans based on business requirements, functional specifications, and design documents.
- Track test plans, test cases, test executions, and defect progress using Jira.
- Manage test case creation and execution according to the defined test strategy.
- Monitor testing progress and ensure timely completion of test cycles.
- Oversee the defect management process, including tracking and resolution.
- Facilitate test execution meetings and defect triage sessions to address cross-functional issues.
- Coordinate with development teams, testers, and business leads to review open defects and prioritize fixes.
- Work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders across the organization.
- Communicate technical and business information clearly to project teams and leadership.
- Prepare daily project status reports for executive stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of Quality Assurance (QA) experience.
- Strong experience with Jira for test management and defect tracking.
- Knowledge of QA best practices and testing methodologies.
- Experience with test automation frameworks or tools.
