Job Description
Role Description
A Pompa Program Certified Health Coach leverages the highly effective and proven Pompa Program products and practices, as well as their professional training and experience, to guide and support individuals on their path to achieving improved health and well-being. A Pompa Program Certified Health Coach is responsible for:
- Tailoring health plans based on an assessment of each client’s unique needs and goals.
- Offering compassionate and meaningful motivation to help clients in their journey.
- Providing professional and encouraging accountability to keep clients engaged and achieving success.
This is a remote position, but due to licensing/tax regulations, we can only hire in specific states.
Qualifications
- You currently reside in one of the following states: AZ, CT, FL, GA, ID, IN, KY, ME, MI, MN, MO, NC, NE, NM, OH, OK, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WY.
- You hold one of the following functional/holistic certifications or equivalent:
- Nutritional Therapy Association (FNTP or NTP)
- Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner (FDN or FDNP)
- National Association of Nutrition Professionals (NANP) – Board Certified in Holistic Nutrition (BCHN)
- Certified Nutrition Professional (CNP)
- Restorative Wellness Solutions – Restorative Wellness Practitioner (RWP)
- Nutrition Therapy Institute – Nutrition Therapist Master
- Integrative Health Practitioner (IHP)
- Functional Nutrition Alliance – Functional Nutrition Lifestyle Practitioner (FNLP) or Certified Functional Nutrition Counselor (CFNC)
- Functional Medicine Coaching Academy – Functional Medicine Health Coach (FMCA or FMCHC)
- Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN)
- Other Accepted Credentials: NBC-HWC certification (must be from a qualifying school above), Doctoral, Master’s, or PhD-level certifications in relevant health fields with demonstrated functional nutrition knowledge.
- At least 1 year of experience as a health coach or in a similar role, with proven success guiding clients toward long-term wellness goals.
- Deep knowledge of anatomy and physiology, with the ability to identify dysfunction and address it from a functional/holistic standpoint.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build professional, trust-based client relationships.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a remote, multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency with virtual coaching tools and client documentation platforms.
- Full-time availability (40 hours/week) and commitment to continued professional growth.
Requirements
- Provide a welcoming, compassionate, and efficient onboarding experience for new clients.
- Conduct client health assessments to create practical and action-oriented wellness plans.
- Analyze targeted health assessments to address underlying root cause stressors.
- Leverage knowledge of nutrition, exercise, stress management, and holistic health principles.
- Educate clients on tailored Pompa protocols, including nutrition plans and targeted supplement protocols.
- Utilize Pompa Program principles to set realistic health goals for clients and track their progress.
- Recommend personalized lifestyle changes that empower clients to achieve their health goals.
- Educate clients on health-related topics, including the body's self-healing mechanisms.
- Stay current with ongoing health and wellness research and integrate learnings into coaching sessions.
- Maintain professional, confidential, and accurate client records.
- Apply fear handling techniques to prevent client cancellations.
- Collaborate with team members to provide a holistic approach to client care.
Benefits
- During the initial 8-week training and ramp-up period, the pay is $20 per hour.
- After this period, compensation includes base pay of $20+ per hour plus monthly performance bonuses.
- Estimated first year On-Target Earnings (OTE) range of $41,000 to $51,000.
