Role Description
As a Collections Representative, you'll be on the front line, making a direct impact to our cardholders’ experience. You’ll be responsible for:
- Handling inbound and outbound calls
- Bringing past-due accounts up to date
- Setting up payment arrangements
- Counseling cardholders on their financial situations
- Determining why a payment is late and best way to fix the situation
- Delivering exceptional service
- Managing customer information
- Building relationships with clients, customers, and colleagues
Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years old
- 6+ months customer service experience of any kind and/or military equivalent experience within the last 7 years
- Fully fluent in English and Spanish
- Must live within 60 minutes or 60 miles of 32746
- Demonstrate at least an intermediate level of computer skills including the ability to:
- Navigate and manage information across multiple windows and software platforms efficiently
- Maintain typing proficiency while actively conversing with customers
- Utilize Outlook or other Microsoft Office programs effectively
- Employ search tools to quickly find necessary information
- This role will require you to work evening hours and at least 1 weekend day
- This role requires a quiet, distraction-free environment
- Be willing to complete a drug test, submit to a background investigation, and provide fingerprints as part of our selection process
- Must satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act
Requirements
- New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles
- Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles
- Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 24 months’ time in position before they can post
- All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from their manager to post

- High starting wages, $22.50 an hour base pay plus 10% language differential for total compensation of $24.75/hr
