Role Description

The Clinical Liaison serves as a regional liaison between our clients (providers, hospital, post acute care partners) and stroke survivors. This role supports commercial team activities by identifying and establishing relationships with referring providers and facilities, conducting IpsiHand product education, and inservice support to healthcare providers, rehabilitation teams, and patients.

  • Identify and build trusted relationships with providers and client care teams, providing regular feedback on referral processes and results, and understanding the local landscape regarding expansion partner opportunities.
  • Deliver presentations and conduct inservice to providers and care teams.
  • Educate and work with providers on IpsiHand prescription process and medical record needs.
  • Identify and execute on IpsiHand screening day opportunities, including outreach planning, patient engagement, scheduling, completing screenings, and patient follow-up.
  • Conduct EEG screenings, both in person and virtually, as requested.
  • Support intake process, educating patients and caregivers on the onboarding process and setting clear expectations for next steps and communication, including obtaining consents, insurance images, scheduling Kandu appointments (if needed), and completing additional requirements.
  • Provide feedback on non-enrollment trends, improvements to referral and onboarding workflows, and message testing.
  • Represent Kandu, Inc. at community-based outreach events, and collect and follow up with new leads.
  • Participate in client status calls and meetings, as assigned.
  • Travel to potential and partner sites, with up to 40% national travel required.
  • Utilize Salesforce to document all activity and monitor data and reporting to support providers and facilities assigned.
  • Hospital credentialing may be required, which may include TB testing, drug testing, proof of COVID vaccination, MMR vaccination, Hepatitis B vaccination, varicella (chicken pox) vaccination, and other testing as required by clients.

Qualifications

  • At least 4-6 years direct customer service and patient experience required.
  • 2-4 years experience in a healthcare setting required.
  • 2-4 years medical device, healthcare, or digital health sales experience required.
  • Communication skills, ability to adapt communication based on audience.
  • Experience with health plan benefits and eligibility.
  • Ability to adapt approach and methods to achieve results in dynamic environments.
  • Strong comfort level with technology.
  • Must have reliable transportation (personal vehicle).
  • Committed to product knowledge and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to present information succinctly and effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR/L), Physical Therapist (PT/DPT) in good standing.
  • 2-4 years experience serving stroke survivors and families preferred.

Work Environment

  • Open to overnight travel.
  • Willing to work daytime and evening hours.
