Role Description

Independence Title in Texas is seeking an experienced Title Examiner.

  • Direct experience with examination in Texas.
  • Ability to research and interpret real estate documents, district court proceedings, probate cases, and surveys.
  • Effective communication with escrow staff, underwriting attorneys, and members of the title department.
  • Attention to detail combined with analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to make insurability decisions and understand title insurance guidelines.
  • Friendly, outgoing, well-organized person with a strong work ethic and desire to help customers have a remarkable experience closing their real estate transactions.
  • Create a positive image of the company through professional appearance, actions, and conduct.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in title examination.
  • Experience with examination in the Texas area preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task and demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in computer and Microsoft Suite, along with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
