• Responsible for the implementation, support, and optimization of Epic’s Health Information Management module • Configure, build, test, and maintain Epic HIM modules, including Release of Information (ROI), Deficiency Tracking, Identity, and Coding. • Utilize Epic applications to ensure successful implementation and delivery of projects within the healthcare system • Collaborate with HIM leadership and operational users to assess current workflows, identify improvement opportunities, and translate business requirements into Epic functionality. • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, CMS, Joint Commission) in all HIM related Epic configurations. • Support release of information processes and chart corrections using Epic tools. • Work with the HIM Department and other stakeholders to resolve patient issues and maintain record accuracy. • Coordinate and execute testing plans for system upgrades and patches. • Troubleshoot system issues and provide prompt support to HIM users. • Support development of reports and dashboards related to HIM metrics.
