Position Overview:
As a member of our transdisciplinary team, you will deliver virtual outpatient therapy to individuals affected by chronic conditions and their family caregivers. We understand that a diagnosis such as Alzheimer’s disease impacts not only the person with the condition but the entire family system, which is why we view the illness as a key component of treatment. Your therapy services will focus on adults, older adults, and family caregivers, addressing both the emotional and psychological challenges that arise on this journey.
By offering centralized support for inquiries, scheduling, insurance contracting, billing and collections, our therapist gets to focus on supporting patients on this often difficult journey.

Schedule: Part-time, 20–25 hours per week. Hours are scheduled based on client demand and team needs.
Primary Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

Perform remote clinical counseling services to clients of Nolia as scheduled and in accordance with company policies
- Maintain proper licensure and abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics which are binding upon or applicable to the services performed at Nolia
- Completion of written records for each patient including, but not limited to: intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, termination notes, contract notes, and other forms or documents which may be needed or required from time-to-time by Nolia or third parties in conjunction with the treatment of the patient.
- Maintain up to date and accurate patient files at all times.
Experience/Skills:
- Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in counseling or social work; and
- Active, unrestricted license (LMFT, LMHC, LICSW) in the State of California or Washington. A copy must be provided to Nolia.
- Required experience with completing assessments, treatment plans, and clinical case notes in compliance with healthcare plans
- Ideally 2 years of experience (professional or lived) in understanding the needs and challenges faced by family caregivers and older adults
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of cultural humility and the ability to communicate and effectively interact with individuals from different cultures, abilities, genders, ethnicities, and races.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients.
- Specialty or training in ACT and/or CBT highly preferred.
- Social justice oriented and practices anti-racism work
- Proficiency in another language, other than English, is a plus but not required.
Work environment
- This is a fully remote role for candidates licensed in the state of Washington or California.
