Role Description

Isla Bella Beach Resort is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Manager – Group Sales to drive group and corporate business for our luxury oceanfront resort. This role focuses on developing and securing group bookings, corporate meetings, incentive programs, and association business while building strong client relationships and growing resort revenue. This is a remote position with occasional travel to Isla Bella Beach Resort in Marathon, Florida for meetings, client site visits, and resort events. The ideal candidate has a strong background in hotel sales, resort group sales, or hospitality sales and a proven track record of exceeding revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic group sales plans to achieve or exceed annual revenue goals.
  • Prospect, solicit, and secure corporate meetings, incentive groups, association business, and group events.
  • Build and manage a portfolio of corporate accounts, meeting planners, and group travel partners.
  • Conduct proactive sales outreach including sales calls, networking events, trade shows, and industry events.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Group Sales, Catering, Revenue Management, and Operations teams to maximize group revenue and ensure seamless execution of booked programs.
  • Prepare and present proposals, contracts, and presentations highlighting Isla Bella’s unique offerings including its oceanfront location, private beach, dining venues, spa, and resort amenities.
  • Conduct virtual and in-person site inspections and host familiarization (FAM) tours for prospective clients.
  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline reporting and forecasting using CRM systems such as Delphi, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies within the Florida Keys luxury resort and hospitality market.
  • Represent Isla Bella Beach Resort at industry trade shows, sales missions, and networking events to build brand awareness and generate new business.
  • Mentor and collaborate with the sales team to foster a high-performance, results-driven sales culture.

Qualifications

  • 5–7+ years of experience in hotel sales, resort sales, or hospitality group sales.
  • Minimum 3 years in a senior sales manager or leadership sales role.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding group sales revenue targets.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience selling corporate meetings, incentive groups, and association business.
  • Excellent organization, communication, and strategic planning abilities.
  • Experience with Delphi, Salesforce, or similar hotel CRM systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
